FAQ
How is this different from Yelp Pro or Angi Leads?
Three things. First, every pro is OCILB- or NAP-verified — we publish the license number on every profile. Yelp + Angi don't filter by license. Second, we don't resell leads. Realtors who use the widget aren't selling client phone numbers to 5 contractors who'll spam them. Third, the cost data is original NW Ohio research published under CC BY 4.0 — you can paste medians into a CMA without a subscription paywall.
What does the embed widget actually do?
One <script> tag drops a verified-pro card grid into your client-resources page, listing page, or inspection-prep PDF. Filter by trade + city/neighborhood. The widget pulls live ProFix data, branded 'Powered by ProFix Directory.' No login required for your client. See live previews at /embed-preview.
Can I get a custom feed for my brokerage?
Yes. We have a JSON feed at /api/pros.json (free, public). For custom feeds (your-brokerage-branded, filtered to specific neighborhoods, with bulk pricing data attached), email press@profixdirectory.com. Roadmap pricing: $49/month for branded embed + bulk cost-data API access. Hand-shake first, billing later.
What about bulk inspection prep?
If you're prepping a listing for showings, our /help triage flow + cost-guide library is the closest thing to a 'common defects' checklist. We're building a /for-realtors/inspection-prep tool that lets you generate a buyer-friendly PDF of typical NW Ohio inspection defects + cost ranges. Does ProFix endorse any specific brokerage?
No. We're broker-agnostic. We don't take referral fees from brokerages. The embed widget links homeowners directly to verified pros, not to your competitors. Your branding is preserved. Your client never sees a competing agent.
