Our pricing policy

What pros never pay for

• ✓Inclusion in the directory. If a pro meets our public listing standards, they're eligible — free, forever. No pay-to-be-visible basic tier.
• ✓Higher organic ranking. Our non-sponsored ranking inputs are unaffected by payment.
• ✓Removal from competitor pages. We won't take a competitor's pro down for money. Takedowns happen only via verified takedown request from the listed business.

How we actually make money

1. Featured listings ($49–$199/mo)

   Pros can buy a labeled "⭐ Featured" badge with top-of-list placement. The badge is visible. The aria-label says "Sponsored." Featured placement never changes the profile's trust tier or adds a credential we cannot support.

2. Lead-gen partner referrals

   When a homeowner can't find what they need, we offer "Get free quotes" links to partner networks (HomeAdvisor, Angi, Thumbtack). These are clearly labeled Sponsored, get rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", and we may earn a commission per qualified lead.

3. Affiliate links (home warranties, parts)

   Our cost guides and homeowner guides occasionally link to home-warranty providers or parts suppliers. These get the same Sponsored disclosure. No editorial choice is influenced by affiliate revenue.

The lines we won't cross

• Never accept payment to suppress a 1-star review. Reviews are pulled from the public Google Places aggregate. We don't editorialize them.
• Never accept payment to remove a competing pro. Takedowns require a verified request from the listed business itself, only.
• Never accept payment to inflate a featured pro's rating. Ratings shown on featured cards are the real Google rating, unmodified.
• Never bury the disclosure. Every featured / sponsored / affiliate link is labeled in plain English where the user sees it.
