Data deletion request

ProFix Directory honors every verified deletion request. We respond within 30 days as required by the CCPA, GDPR, and equivalent US state privacy laws. Submitting this form does not require an account.

For homeowners

If you submitted a job request and want your lead data deleted, fill out the form below. We will remove your name, phone, email, address, and the description of the job from our database. Any contractor who already purchased the lead retains the snapshot they downloaded for their own records — we will notify them of your deletion request as required by law, but cannot reach into their systems.

For contractors

Contractors may request removal of their public-record listing. Because listings are sourced from public records (Ohio Secretary of State, state license boards, BBB, county permit feeds), we will verify that the request comes from an authorized representative before suppressing the listing. You must provide:

Approved removals are processed within 30 days. Suppression persists across future scrapes — once removed, we will not re-publish the listing without a fresh request from you.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the request within two business days at the email you provide.
  2. We verify identity or authorized-agent status.
  3. We complete deletion or suppression within 30 days and send written confirmation.
  4. You may appeal a denial by emailing privacy@profixdirectory.com within 30 days of the decision.
